-
Group Therapy is a form of counseling where a small group of people meet together under the guidance of a trained therapist to share experiences, gain insight, and learn coping skills. Sessions are designed to provide a safe, supportive space for open discussion and personal growth.
How it can help:
Realizing you’re not alone in your struggles
Gaining multiple perspectives and feedback
Learning from the successes and challenges of others
Building communication and relationship skills
Receiving encouragement and accountability in a supportive environment
-
EMDR Therapy (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a specialized form of psychotherapy designed to help people heal from distressing memories and trauma. It works by using guided eye movements or other forms of rhythmic stimulation while recalling specific events, helping the brain reprocess these memories in a healthier way.
How it can help:
Reducing the emotional intensity of painful memories
Helping break patterns of negative thoughts and behaviors
Promoting faster recovery from trauma compared to traditional talk therapy alone
Supporting overall emotional resilience and well-being
-
Sand Tray Therapy is a creative, hands-on approach that uses a tray of sand and miniature figures to help you express thoughts, feelings, and experiences that can be hard to put into words. By building scenes in the sand, you and your therapist can explore your inner world in a safe and supportive way.
How it can help:
Encourages self-expression without pressure to “find the right words”
Helps process emotions and experiences in a gentle way
Supports healing from trauma, grief, and stress
Promotes insight, problem-solving, and emotional growth
-
Brainspotting is a gentle, focused therapy that helps your brain and body process unresolved trauma, stress, or emotional pain. In sessions, your therapist will guide you to notice specific eye positions—called “brainspots”—that are linked to stored memories or emotions. By focusing on these spots in a safe, supportive environment, your brain can naturally process and release what’s been holding you back.
How it can help:
Reduces the intensity of painful memories
Helps release stored stress and tension in the body
Supports faster emotional healing
Improves clarity, calm, and overall well-being
